What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's failure to meet a condition specified in a mediated settlement issued by the Board on July 9, 2019 with respect to a previous application.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must move out by August 25, 2020. The Tenant owes no money to the Landlord, as the rent deposit and interest owed to the Tenant exceeds the amount the Landlord is entitled to. The Landlord is authorized to offset $23.34 per day for compensation for the Tenant's use of the unit from August 15, 2020 until the Tenant moves out.
