What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Landlords require possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation. The Landlords purchased the rental unit, a family home, with the intention of moving into the home.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective August 23, 2021. The Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before August 23, 2021. The Tenant shall pay the Landlords $4,393.43, which includes compensation for use of the unit, the application fee, and interest on the rent deposit.
