What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the Tenant did not void by paying the arrears.
The ruling
The Tenant shall pay the Landlords $14,650.00, which includes rent arrears up to November 30, 2020 and the application filing fee. The Tenant shall pay the lawful rent plus an additional $200 towards arrears each month for 73 months, and then the lawful rent plus $50 in month 74. If the Tenant fails to make any of these payments, the Landlords may apply to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant.
