What happened
Landlords applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to substantial interference with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord or another tenant. The Landlords served two N5 notices on the Tenant for excessive noise and posting defamatory remarks on social media.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective November 1, 2021. The Tenant must vacate the rental unit by that date and pay the Landlord $186 for the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay the amount owed by November 1, 2021, they will start accruing interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
