What happened
Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to undue damage to the rental unit, substantial interference with the Landlord's reasonable enjoyment, and the Tenant committing an illegal act. The Landlord claimed compensation for the damage and the Tenant's continued occupancy after the termination date.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective October 26, 2021. The Tenant must vacate the unit by that date and pay the Landlord $186 for the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not vacate by October 26, the Landlord can file the order with the Sheriff to enforce the eviction. The Tenant will also owe the Landlord daily compensation for continued occupancy after October 26.
