What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's failure to meet a condition specified in the mediated settlement issued by the Board on February 24, 2020 with respect to a previous application.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective August 15, 2020. The Tenant owes no money to the Landlord as the amount of the rent deposit and interest the Landlord owes on the rent deposit exceeds the arrears of rent and costs related to the previous application. The Landlord is authorized to offset $30.35 per day for compensation for the Tenant's use of the unit starting June 1, 2020 until the Tenant moves out.
