What happened

Landlords applied for an order determining that the Tenant abandoned the rental unit. The Tenant has not been seen since September 18, 2021, and the unit has been emptied of the Tenant's personal belongings.

The ruling

The tenancy between the Landlords and the Tenant is terminated. The Tenant shall pay the Landlords $186.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by February 11, 2022, the Tenant will start to owe simple interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
