What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board on July 20, 2021 with respect to application SOL-20501-21.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective August 23, 2021. The Tenants owe no money to the Landlord as the rent deposit and interest owed to the Tenants exceeds the rent arrears. The Landlord is authorized to offset $56.22 per day for compensation for the use of the unit starting August 13, 2021 until the Tenants move out.
