What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to substantial interference with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord or another tenant. The Landlord also claimed compensation for each day the Tenants remained in the unit after the termination date.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective October 29, 2021. The Tenants must move out by that date and pay the Landlord $9,424.89, which includes compensation for use of the unit, the application fee, and interest on the rent deposit. If the Tenants do not pay by October 29, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement.
