What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Tenant vacated the rental unit on February 28, 2021, prior to the hearing date.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $9,103.62 in rent arrears and $186.00 for the application fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by July 16, 2021, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
