What happened

The landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the tenant due to the tenant's failure to meet the conditions specified in a previous mediated settlement. The ruling

The tenancy is terminated, and the tenant must vacate the rental unit by November 16, 2021. The tenant must pay the landlord $3,703.45, which includes rent arrears up to November 5, 2021 and the costs related to the previous application, less the rent deposit and interest. The tenant must also pay the landlord $18.64 per day for compensation for the use of the unit starting November 6, 2021 until the tenant moves out. If the tenant does not pay the full amount by November 16, 2021, the tenant will start to owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
