What happened
Landlords applied to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent and for seriously impairing the safety of the Landlords and their child. The Landlords alleged the Tenants removed smoke detectors, smoked excessively causing second-hand smoke, threatened the Landlords, and had constant loud fights.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated and the Tenants must vacate the rental unit by October 9, 2016. The Tenants must pay the Landlords $1,330.50 plus $47.67 per day starting September 29, 2016 until they move out. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by October 9, 2016, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
