What happened

Tenants applied for orders determining that the Landlord substantially interfered with their reasonable enjoyment of the rental unit or complex, and that the Landlord failed to meet maintenance obligations under the Residential Tenancies Act.

The ruling

The Landlord breached the rental agreement and the Residential Tenancies Act by failing to provide the Tenants with exclusive use of the basement and by failing to maintain the property. The Tenants shall have full exclusive use of the basement.
