What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent and persistent late payment of rent. The Tenant consented to vacate the rental unit on or before November 6, 2022.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective November 6, 2022. The Tenant must pay the Landlords $22,492.55, which includes rent arrears, application filing fee, less the rent deposit and interest. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by November 6, 2022, the Tenant will owe interest starting November 7, 2022. If the unit is not vacated by November 6, 2022, the Landlords can file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement.
