What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant or another occupant committing an illegal act or carrying out an illegal trade, business or occupation in the rental unit or residential complex, and because the Tenant, another occupant or a person the Tenant permitted in the residential complex has seriously impaired the safety of any person.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective September 15, 2017. The Tenant must vacate the unit by that date and pay the Landlord $190 for the application filing fee. If the unit is not vacated by September 15, 2017, the Tenant will owe the Landlord $42.15 per day in compensation until the unit is vacated, and the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement.
