What happened

Landlords applied to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Tenant raised issues under section 82 of the Act, but later decided to bring his own applications at a later date. The Tenant was in arrears of rent for the period from July 1, 2016 to November 30, 2016.

The ruling

The Tenant is given an opportunity to continue the tenancy by making the required payments. If the Tenant fails to make any of the payments, the Landlords may apply to the Board to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant.
