What happened
Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenant to pay the rent that the Tenant owes, as well as NSF cheque charges and related administration charges.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated as of June 30, 2020, the date the Tenant vacated the rental unit. The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $1,071.15 in rent arrears, $25 in NSF cheque charges, and $190 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by January 26, 2021, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
