What happened
The Tenants applied for an order determining that the Landlords failed to meet their maintenance obligations or comply with health, safety, housing or maintenance standards. The Tenants also alleged harassment and substantial interference. The Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants due to substantial interference.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective April 8, 2016, unless the Tenants pay the outstanding $1,398.50 owed to the Landlords by that date. The Landlords must install missing window screens and limit their access to the garage. The Tenants' claims regarding electrical and sewer issues were largely unfounded.
