What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to meet conditions specified in a previous order issued by the Board on October 18, 2021. The Tenant's unit was found to be littered with garbage, food waste, dirt, and grime during a unit inspection on November 11, 2021, violating the conditions set in the previous order.
The ruling
The tenancy between the Landlord and Tenant is terminated. The Tenant must vacate the rental unit by January 31, 2022. If the unit is not vacated by this date, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) for eviction enforcement starting February 1, 2022. The previous order TNL-33167-21 is cancelled.
