What happened
Landlords applied to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent and other issues, including the Tenants using the garage and basement to store their belongings, lighting unauthorized outdoor fires, and digging holes in the backyard without the Landlords' consent.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective July 16, 2021. The Tenants must pay the Landlords $21,001 by July 16, 2021 to void the eviction order and continue the tenancy. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by the deadline, the Landlords may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office to enforce the eviction.
