What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant failed to pay rent from July 1, 2021 to January 31, 2022. The Landlord served a Notice of Termination effective October 11, 2021. The Tenant did not attend the hearing.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must vacate the unit by February 8, 2022. The Tenant is ordered to pay $4,022.57 plus $19.73 per day starting January 29, 2022, until they move out. The Tenant can void the eviction order by paying $4,086.00 by January 31, 2022, or $4,686.00 by February 8, 2022. If payment is not made, the Landlord can file for eviction enforcement starting February 9, 2022.
