What happened

Tenant applied for an order determining that Landlords failed to meet the Landlord's maintenance obligations under the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006 or failed to comply with health, safety, housing or maintenance standards. The Tenant alleged issues with insufficient heat, window coverings, window screens, vibration and banging noises, windows not opening, broken glass on the balcony, construction noise and dust, and a malfunctioning elevator.

The ruling

The Tenant's application was dismissed. The Landlord did not breach their obligations under the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006 with respect to the maintenance issues raised by the Tenant.
