What happened

Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenant to pay the rent that the Tenant owes, as well as NSF cheque charges and related administration charges.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $2,500.00 in rent arrears, $27.00 in NSF cheque charges and related administration charges, and $201.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount owing by March 5, 2022, the Tenant will start to owe simple interest calculated at 2.00% annually on the balance outstanding starting March 16, 2022.
