Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to meet conditions specified in a previous order (SWL-54044-21) issued on December 2, 2021. The Tenant failed to pay $200.00 by December 3, 2021, as required by the previous order.

The ruling

The Board ordered that the Tenant pay $5,432.80 to the Landlords for rent arrears up to November 30, 2021, plus $28.77 per day as compensation for use of the unit starting December 1, 2021 until the Tenant moves out. The previous order (SWL-54044-21) terminating the tenancy remains in effect. If full payment is not made by January 25, 2022, interest will be charged at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
