What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board on June 7, 2021 with respect to application HOL-08789-20.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective July 16, 2021. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $13,392.00 in rent arrears and application fees, plus $82.19 per day in compensation for use of the unit from July 1, 2021 until they vacate. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by July 16, 2021, they will owe interest and the Landlord can file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement.
