What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants because the Landlord requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation by the Landlord's son. The Landlord also claimed compensation for damage to the residential complex.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective November 30, 2021. The Landlord's claim for $1,356 in damages is dismissed. The Landlord shall waive one month's rent in the amount of $1,200 as compensation for the N12 notice by November 1, 2021.
