What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to the Tenant seriously impairing the safety of others in the residential complex. The application was based on two incidents: an assault with a baseball bat on July 14, 2021, and a hostile confrontation with security on October 30, 2021.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective August 24, 2019. The Tenant must vacate the rental unit by January 31, 2022, and pay $201.00 to the Landlord for the application filing fee. If the unit is not vacated by the specified date, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for eviction enforcement.
