What happened

Landlord applied to terminate tenancy and evict Tenant due to willful damage to premises, use inconsistent with residential purposes, and serious impairment of safety. Tenant's actions included stabbing a door, throwing objects from window, hitting a door with a hammer, and repeatedly pulling fire alarms falsely.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective April 14, 2018. The Tenant must vacate the unit by this date and pay $350.00 for application filing costs. If not vacated, the Landlord may file for enforcement with the Sheriff starting April 15, 2018. The Sheriff is directed to expedite the enforcement of this order.
