What happened
Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's alleged involvement in illegal drug activities in the rental unit.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective June 1, 2021. The Tenant must vacate the rental unit by that date. The Landlord shall apply the last month's rent deposit of $687.00 plus $21.04 interest to the Tenant's account. The Tenant shall also pay the Landlord $190.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount owing by June 1, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe simple interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
