What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant failed to meet the conditions specified in a previous LTB order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective April 29, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $6,243.40 in rent arrears and application fees, less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. The Tenant must also pay the Landlord $23.29 per day in compensation for use of the unit starting April 19, 2023 until the Tenant moves out.
