What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet the conditions specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective June 26, 2021. The Tenants must pay the Landlords $5,164.85 for rent arrears and costs, plus $75.62 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting June 16, 2021 until the Tenants move out. If the full amount is not paid by June 26, 2021, the Tenants will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
