What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to persistent late payment of rent.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective August 16, 2021. The Tenant must move out by that date and pay the Landlord any outstanding rent up to August 5, 2021, less the last month's rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. The Tenant must also pay the Landlord $23.51 per day for compensation for use of the unit from August 6, 2021 until the Tenant moves out, as well as the $201 application fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by August 16, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
