What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The Tenants owed arrears in April 2020, which were paid off in full by the end of May 2020, after the Landlord had filed their L1 application.

The ruling

The Tenants shall pay the Landlord the $172.51 balance of the cost of filing the application. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by March 31, 2021, they will start to owe simple interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
