What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. Tenants raised issues under Section 82, alleging interference with vital services and illegal entry by the Landlord.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless Tenants void the order by paying the specified amount. If not voided, Tenants must move out by November 5, 2022, and pay $7,946.65 plus $46.03 per day from August 18, 2022, until they vacate. The Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting November 6, 2022, if the unit is not vacated.
