What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board on December 13, 2021.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 28, 2022. The Tenants must pay the Landlords $3,015.79 plus $36.16 per day for continued occupancy after February 17, 2022. If the full amount is not paid by February 28, 2022, the Tenants will owe interest starting March 1, 2022. The Landlords may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office to enforce the eviction if the unit is not vacated by March 1, 2022.
