What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a N4 Notice, but the N4 Notice was found to be invalid as it did not include the unit number.

The ruling

The Tenants are ordered to pay the Landlord $2,225.00, which includes $2,050.00 in rent arrears and $175.00 for the application filing fee. If the full amount is not paid by November 21, 2020, the Tenants will start owing interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
