What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Landlord in good faith requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation for at least one year.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective October 31, 2022. The Tenant must vacate the unit by this date. If the unit is not vacated by October 31, 2022, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction starting November 1, 2022. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord compensation of $62.47 per day for the use of the unit starting June 30, 2022 until the date the Tenant moves out.
