What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because they require possession of the rental unit for their child's residential occupation for at least one year. The Tenant contested the eviction and sought more time to find alternative accommodation.

The tenancy is terminated effective June 1, 2023. The Tenant must vacate by this date or face eviction. The Landlords' application for personal use of the rental unit for their child is granted. The Tenant is ordered to pay $186.00 for the Landlords' application filing fee. The Landlords must return the April 2022 rent payment to the Tenant.
