What happened

Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's conduct that substantially interfered with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord or another tenant, and because the Tenant seriously impaired the safety of any person. The Tenant attacked three other tenants on July 9, 2020, causing injuries, and was arrested and charged with assault.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective September 16, 2020. The Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before September 16, 2020. If the unit is not vacated by that date, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction.
