What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to meet conditions specified in a previous order (CEL-99581-21) issued on July 26, 2021. The Tenant failed to pay the lawful monthly rent in full by February 1, 2022, as required by the previous order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must vacate the unit by March 7, 2022. The Tenant is ordered to pay $3,630.55 for rent arrears and application fees from the previous order, plus $42.50 per day starting February 25, 2022, until they vacate. If the Tenant doesn't pay by March 7, 2022, interest will accrue at 2% annually. The Landlord can file for eviction enforcement starting March 8, 2022, if the unit is not vacated.
