What happened
Landlords applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent and the Landlords' intention to have the purchaser, who is the Landlords' grandchild, occupy the rental unit.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated as of November 30, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlords $4,655.33, which includes rent arrears less the rent deposit, interest on the rent deposit, and one month's rent compensation. If the Tenant fails to move out by November 30, 2021, she must pay the Landlords $52.60 per day for compensation for the use of the unit starting December 1, 2021. The Tenant must also pay the Landlords $201.00 for the cost of filing the application.
