What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to meet conditions specified in a previous order (TNL-32480-21) issued on December 20, 2021. The Tenants failed to pay the lawful monthly rent and arrears installment by January 1, 2022, as required by the previous order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 26, 2022. Tenants must pay $7,067.55 to the Landlord, plus $53.19 per day from February 16, 2022, until they vacate the unit. If not paid by February 26, 2022, interest will accrue at 2% annually. The Landlord may file for eviction with the Sheriff starting February 27, 2022, if the unit is not vacated.
