What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. Landlord served a Notice of Termination effective September 7, 2021. Tenants failed to pay full rent for the period from August 1, 2021 to January 31, 2022.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 20, 2022, unless Tenants void the order by paying $6,501.00 by that date. Tenants must pay $2,784.49 in rent arrears and compensation, plus $69.04 per day from February 10, 2022, until they move out. Tenants must also pay $201.00 for the application filing cost. If full payment is not made by February 20, 2022, the Landlord may file for eviction enforcement.
