What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The Landlord also claimed administration charges related to NSF cheques.

The ruling

The order is limited to costs only and not eviction. The Tenants shall pay the Landlord $148.80 for the remaining costs of filing the application and the total charges related to NSF cheques. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by October 19, 2021, they will start to owe simple interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
