What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was previously resolved by order TSL-16244-20 issued on December 7, 2020. The Tenant requested a review of the order and a stay, alleging they were not reasonably able to participate and the order contained a serious error. The review hearing was held on June 30, 2021, but the Tenant did not attend.

The ruling

The Tenant's request to review the original order was denied. The original order TSL-16244-20 is confirmed and the stay is lifted. The Tenant is ordered to pay $100 in costs to the Landlord.
