What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord also claimed charges related to NSF cheques. The Tenants were given an opportunity to void the eviction order by paying the arrears.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenants void the order by paying $7,381.18 by August 31, 2022. If not voided, Tenants must move out by August 31, 2022, and pay $3,422.91 plus $29.42 per day from June 21, 2022, until they move out. The Landlord can file for eviction enforcement starting September 1, 2022, if the unit is not vacated.
