What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as per the mediated settlement issued by the Board on December 11, 2020.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective September 5, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $6,131.16 in rent arrears by September 5, 2021. If the Tenant does not pay, they will owe additional daily compensation of $54.25 starting August 26, 2021 until they vacate, and interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance starting September 6, 2021. If the unit is not vacated by September 5, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement.
