What happened
Landlords applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's conduct substantially interfering with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlords or another tenant. The Tenant failed to clean up dog feces, stored items and left garbage in common areas, and made excessive noise and yelled profanities in the rental unit.
The ruling
The tenancy between the Landlords and the Tenant is terminated effective July 19, 2020. The Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before June 25, 2021. The Tenant shall pay the Landlords $186.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount owing by June 25, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe simple interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance starting June 26, 2021. If the unit is not vacated by June 25, 2021, the Landlords may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) for enforcement starting June 26, 2021.
