What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant and for an order to have the Tenant pay compensation for damage the Tenant owes because the Tenant failed to meet a condition specified in the order issued by the Board on May 12, 2020 with respect to application TEL-05853-19.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective August 16, 2020. The Tenant must pay the Landlord -$376.60 (less any amount paid by the Tenant to the Landlord after the application was filed) and $32.63 per day for compensation for the use of the unit starting July 1, 2020 to the date the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by August 16, 2020, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2.00% annually on the balance outstanding.
