What happened
Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenant to pay the rent that the Tenant owes. The Tenant vacated the rental unit on June 29, 2021 and was in possession of the rental unit on the date the application was filed.
The ruling
The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $2,954.00 in rent arrears and $201.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by November 14, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
